Recently purchased Mongoose Ritual and fairly happy with it.

It has a cassette rear hub which seems to have some play. When wheel is off, I can't notice play in the axle, only when on the bike. It is not very much and hasn't gotten worse. I don't know the brand of hub as it doesn't say. It is 135mm width, disc brake type, with 16 tooth COG, and 3/8" axle (not QR).

Is there any adjustment or is this normal?

Sounds like your hub cones are loose. Take it to your LBS and have em' show you how to adjust the bearing tension.

Can this be done on sealed bearing type hubs? I've read through posts on the forums some same no and some say there is a way to adjust.
