40 degree nights followed by 70 degree days, a hint of pinon smoke from the fireplaces, pumpkin ales, snow dusting the higher elevations, and the cottonwoods along the Rio Grande bosque trails change to a shimmering sea of yellow-gold.. what's your favorite season?

I recognize that trail... it's the bottom part of Jester at Burke Mtn. We were there just a few weeks ago but it seems that a ton more leaves have fallen since the Fall Monkeyfest.

Yup, it's Burke Mountain at the Kingdom trails. Best trails I've ridden in a long while. Well organized, friendly, cheap and extensive (~100 miles). You should get down there & check it out - it's about 2.5hrs door to door for me. I have a ride report w/ way more pictures "waiting approval" or some such in the Ride Reports forum.
