Well, I want to built a freeride/urban bike. I am an avid mountain biker and just got my new kona one20 deluxe. However I want to build a bike strictly for urban freeride biking. So I was thinking that I could use to know some tips and such, like what parts do I need, I don't want to miss a part in my order! Also if you guys can suggest parts, I have a budget of...$600-$700, so I could use some help.

A lot of things are personal preference. I would start by upgrading that which connects you to the bike and the bike to the road- grips, pedals, and tires. For strictly urban free ride, my personal choices would be ODI Ruffian grips, Fly Ruben pedals, and Hookworm tires, in that order.
