I'm going to try to bend it back today. It's not terrible, but I know it'll weaken and I may end up snapping it by trying to bend it back. I'm actually surprised the lever housing didn't break.

This got me wondering a couple things... Shimano brake levers all look the same now (from this generation anyway). Are they different inside somehow? Can I use a brake lever blade from an XT or XTR lever?

Some have adjustable reach. The lever is all the same but mount point isn't always.

i know with at least the first gen saint (m800) you could set them up with an XT lever body (that's how mine are setup). no idea on the blade itself.
