I am looking for a zero/low stack headset for my '08 BigHit. It has the standard 1 1/8 headtube. I have found several headsets out there with 1 1/8" in their description, but it also comes with a few other numbers as well. Someone once told me that there is no such thing as a true zero stack headset for a 1 1/8 headtube; only zero stacks for 1.5 headtubes that reduce down to 1 1/8". I didn't know I had to worry about I.D. and O.D. on a 1 1/8" headtube. I thought I can take the headset out of my '08 bighit and install it into my '96 Trek 830 if I wanted to. Can someone explain the other numbers in the description of most zero stack headsets out there?
