When, where can we start renting cabins?
im game. is it mostly camping or do people rent cabins?
you're gonna want a cabin. it is usually frigid cold and snowing during the race. its fun as hell and nobody should miss it.
Mikey is a wise man. You would be a brave man if you camped.
You can camp if your balls are covered in polar bear fur.
But other than that, you are gonna need a cabin/room.
They don't call it the Icycle for nothing.
And that cat in the red sweatshirt is dreamy.
I hear he is going to be there again this year.

it's more of a celebration of icy inebriation than it is a race. so much friggin fun. usually sloppy mud during practice that freezes into groomed ice by nightfall. i've been going religiously for the past 4 or 5 years now and wouldn't miss it for the world. i should probably go ahead and reserve a cycletherapy cabin while i still have some money in my wallet

i am in for the race just need a room, any one made reservations that i could get in on.

I'll be trying to get back there this year. Missed last year cause I was stuck in the permanant icycle that is western NY. I'll probably race on a HT and might even prerun the course once or twice this time.
Night Vision goggles would be cool? Not that i have any or could afford any,but wonder if they would work for riding. Might make you puke?

that's a big heck no! on the NVG's. i have to use them at work a lot and they're a royal pain to try and judge distance and depth with. holy crap that would suck to race with them on.

This year, I'd say I may have to borrow lights and a set of wheels. what kinda wheels butch? 20mm QR? 10mm rear?
i've got 2 rear wheels you can choose from. xt hub on a rhyno lite and xt hub on a mavic 517 (i think)
and I can source you a front wheel of some sort, I have plenty in the shop.
just standard QR front and rear

holy hell the cabin prices went up! i got us a 2 bdrm cabin last year for just over $100...now it's $165 after the discount! eff that, i think i might just drive back sat night.

Anybody got some spare lights. The one Brado was gonna let me borrow kicked the can. It's me and Greg (aka motocross ninja) and we're gonna be short on vision and long on brews.
