Hey guys,
just arrived in Santa Cruz today on vacation from Vancouver, B.C. Craving a ride and heard about the awesome trails down here, looking to see if anyone can point
us in the direction of some freeride/DH trails, please pm me any info.

Well.. look up Demo or "Demonstration Forest".
There are also great freeride and pedally trails in UCSC.

I'm not near there, so I can't help much more than that. Otherwise check msdhw.com for a more local scene and directions.
