When the propedal lever is in the "middle" it actually sits off to the side a bit. And when it's in "light" there is some play in the lever itself.

When going from full to light it feels like it's spring loaded and JUMPS all the way to light, skipping the middle.

Sounds like there maybe something wrong with the detents, spring or ball. Shouldn't affect operation but does not sound right. Mine seems to have four settings, light middle full and no mans land. It seems to jump into no mans land with a little pressure. Could you be pushing it into no mans land?

It doesn't go into no mans land (but I know what you mean because the demo I rode did that).

so maybe I can wait until winter and send it to fox?!

As long as the shock feels fine it is probably just something with the adjusting lever. Ride it!

ok, here's a silly question - which position do you put it in when you set the sag? full?
