4 degrees, still feel kind of crudy, but fever free so masking up and heading in. Slept horribly, probably due to all the naps I've been taking the last two days.
Pedaled to nowhere for a bit.
7 or 8 outside. But should be 20ish today. A fella is dropping off a very odd shaped walnut slab that he wants finished into a table.
Meeting a guy to sell him alfalfa seed today. And that will be my day.
Office day! During my drive in, I had a guy come flying down the left merging lane, cut me off to get to his exit, then flipped me the bird when he got on the exit ramp. I was all like:

next dive trip seems to be coming together.
office day. City is still clearing snow from snowmaggedon that started last Thursday. Yesterday on the news I heard city officials say they'd only cleared 10% of the snow. Can confirm: 30% of my commute I had to push the bike where road plows had re-covered sidewalks and bikes paths with death cookies and about 6" of snow. pedestrian-controlled lights at the roundabout I have to cross was completely buried (about 6' high and at least 1' deep) in consolidated, windblown snow. the side-street I take to get to my office still had about 2" of unconsolidated snow. my skinny studded tires were able to cut through down to the pavement so I wasn't slipping out, but it sure was a lot of work.
that said, it only took me 4 minutes longer than usual (and maybe a bit more sweat), so I'm not complaining. overall it was nice out.

Yo. Another day. No doller though. Cleaning the house and wishing I was riding my bicycle in the woods but snow flurries has indicated that will not be the case.. Be nice out there.

Close, hers was a 72 CJ5, mine is a 82 CJ7
It has a longer wheelbase, more room in the back tub for a folding jumpseat and powertrain options that work a bit better. But ultimately those older CJ5's have more rust than sheet metal in my neck of the woods. If anything, I am closer to Daisy dukes CJ7 with it being the exception of a very rare golden eagle submodel.
And I, for one, welcome our new Orkan overlords.
