I’m being generous here, but the staff are equally to blame, by not supervising this person. If you have never had an MRI (or just didn’t know how they work), there is really no way to have know it could possibly do this.
Normal protocol is to not even let a key or piercing into that space.
Someone fucked up, big time.

Man, if you can find a local symphony and/or ensemble that plays the soundtrack alongside a showing, I HIGHLY recommend it. Super fucking cool.
Noted.

Although the local theater is probably the next best thing. It's a historic venue (1903, pre movies), and the main screen theater has a balcony. It's the theater where the original Blob was filmed.

Not too long after I started, staff rolled an non-approved anesthesia cart into an MRI room and it became a short range gauss slug that wiped out both the anesthesia machine and the MRI but somehow no person, so maybe don't be too generous.

I hope they regularly play it there, because that's awesome.
They host Blob fest every summer. They primarily play classic movies.

truly, when we took a person in there, watches, belts, glasses, rings all had to come off and stay outside of the room. Hey Toshi, are my plates and screws in my ankle safe or do I now need to stay out too?

If it's surgical and not ancient surgery you're probably fine. I've got enough titanium and surgical stainless in my body to build a bike and I'm fine in an MRI.

Are you and/or the kids familiar with Gravity Falls? You should get acquainted.

Evening. It's F'n cold still, but temps are supposed to rise by 10 - 15 degrees overnight!!! 4 days of -30C, and preditions of rain for tomorrow morning could make the ride to work interesting. I will really put the tire studs to test should rain happen...

First meeting for the Elks car show that I'm volunteering for, should be interesting. The guy that runs the car show is the incoming Exhaulted Ruler, so not sure how much he will be involved this year. I'm new here, so I have no idea.

Heckin' eh, 1 minute into tonight's ride and my dropper cable snapped out of the lever and my buddies shifter stopped shifting.

I guess we're just not meant to ride this winter

Getting on/off the highway up north has entered the sketch stage, as the snow banks are all taller than most vehicles.

We scan people with spine and joint hardware all the time. They cause artifacts that make my life harder and might heat up some negligible but not precisely zero amount but otherwise they are just fine.

Not all metals are Ferromagnetic, which is bad in an MRI. Paramagnetic and diamagnetic metals are fine.

Even iron based alloys with austenitic crystal structures are fine. Also why you can't use magnets on some stainless steel fridges.

Some quantum bullshit.
