I just moved to Highland and want to check out Jockey Hill. What's the best way to get there? Where's the best place to begin and what trails aren't too bad in terms of intense uphill/downhill?

Hi~ There are no intense downhill's at Jockey Hill. It's got plenty of fun tough trails though. Check out the Fats In The Cats website; theyre a great bunch who do a lot of local trail work, fun events, etc. There's a club ride every tuesday meeting @ Jockey Hill lot 5:30. If you want to explore on your own, most local shops have a map (try Overlook in Woodstock, Table Rock in Rosendale, or Kingston Cyclery). You'll like the hill, and neighboring Onteora Lake.
