I thought the same the first and eighteenth times I saw the trailer, but part of me thinks that movie could be much better than the trailer lets on. Let's certainly hope that's the case.
I am definitely going to see it! Tho I might not pay to see it in the theater... I'll wait for reviews first.
Also, if he can jump to any place on the planet, can he jump off? I would get a space suit and check out other planets And how much mass can he displace?
Maybe the jumpers are ancestors of the Guild Navigators in Dune?

Watch one of the trailers again carefully. It's only places he can see, or has been to, as I gather.
There's one scene where the military/government guys kinda' have him trapped, and he grabs a photograph or a post card, and tries to jump to the place he sees on the post card to get away, but for some reason his power doesn't work.
So, unless he sees it, he probably can't jump there.

and just to make it extra nerdy...Nightcrawler can only "jump" about 3-4 miles away tops...but it looks like in the trailer distance doesn't play a part
I have only seen the trailer once and it looks like at one point he does go into space with his girl. He tells her to hold her breath right before jumping. Now I am going to go watch the trailer again and see how wrong I am.
