Tweek

I Love Cheap Beer!
Spec looks good. Personally, I'd go for something below X.0 deraillieur, just 'cause I'm prone to bashing them at least once/season. (I run an X.7) Also, Shimano cassette (XT) because I don't know if the SRAM cassettes have gotten any better. Another personal choice for lock-on grips are the OURYs.

Nice. My free in the build process at the moment.

If you want to save weight you don't need the Diabolous cranks. Holzfellers, older RF Turbines and Next LPS will be lighter, and plenty strong unless you are heavy. Sames goes for the other diabolous components, they are all superman strength which may not be needed depending on your weight. Easton and Thompson would be lighter.

You cannot run a king rear hub, they don't make a 150/12 thru axel. Hadely and DT swiss do.

Here is my build:

sounds like you're going to build my dream bike...

i agree with tweek about the X.0. see, the thing about derailleurs is that they break often (or at least for me...) bumb down to the X.9 and save quite a bit of money. I run an X.7 also... just finished off my old XT.

anyway, gonna be a sick bike, man. you'll have fun on it. you should change your name now... i did the same thing when i got a big bike even though i still had my p2

sounds sweet! if you want my $.02 i'ld run a 66 RC, juicy 5's( you'll only ripe the adj. nob off the 7's), Liz skiz NS lock-ons( as big as ourys, so no arm pump and as stiff as odi ruffians so total control), a thomson seat post( i've striped a new dioblus on a bad no footer and yes, it was torked down right) and go for 2.7 HRs, maxxis runs small.
i just built up a nice heckler with that green color and it is PHAT! there are to many all black bikes out there, be diffrent! if all the rest of the parts are black it is the shizz! but go for that matching green on all the chris king parts. you will have the sweetist looking bike around, i garenty it!

The E.13 STS is for street, I believe you will be only able to run a 36T ring on it.. depending on where and what you ride that may not be big enough. I'd get the SRS if you are going to run only 1 ring, or I have a DRS and absolutely love it. Haven't dropped a chain on my bighit in almost a year.
