This event benefits all levels of biking, including San Diego State Mountain Biking, and not just the spandex crew.

The Karl Strauss Beach to Brewery kicks off at 11:00 a.m. with a 6-mile beach cruise. The ride begins at P.B. Bar and Grill and winds through Pacific Beach finishing at the Karl Strauss Brewing Company on Santa Fe Street. Be sure to register at P.B. Bar and Grill to receive the $5 biker ticket price.


From noon until 6:00 p.m. revelers will be entertained by a variety of Southern California music, food, and fun. You don't have to participate in the bike ride to enjoy the day long festivities. All of the proceeds from the Beach to Brewery event will benefit both I Love A Clean San Diego and the San Diego County Bike Coalition.

So if one registers with a bike for $5, does the ride and attend the post ride festivities, can the person bring the bike in to watch the bands and stuff? Or does the person have to lock it somewhere and sh*t?

I don't have the precise answer for that, however, this is a biker friendly environment, so they will have a safe solution for this. Have a lock laced around your bike in the case they have a bike locker area.
