No, but FYI me, mbc, and the splat family stayed at this new place this last monkeyfest and it was awesome. Right on 114 between Pinkham Road and the monkey lodge. A++++ would do business with again.

Haven't stayed there but the owners, Jen and Knight Ide, are great folks. Knight is responsible for a lot of the trailbuilding in and around East Burke.

The first Monkey camp is abandoned and falling down. I rode past it last year. Not even vaguely recoverable.

Nature has reclaimed it. Have you ever seen that TV show "Life After People"? That is happening there. It's like the Chernobyl of monkeyfest camps sans the nuclear meltdown.

Yep, for a couple of years now, it's great with the exception of the Porta john. Absolutely perfect other than that. Great outdoor shower, Jen and Knight are great.

Non-nuclear meltdowns did happen though.

I sometimes use Monkeyfest genesis camp for boondocking.
