my LBS is selling kona chute frames for $200-240 depending on color, im thinking of getting one, do you think it is worth it? it would be set up for dj. i need an opionion!

Well that is one thing they are used for. I love the frame (I have a roast which is the exact same except for colour). It will be an excellent frame for djing.

You know Kona still has some older (2001 & 2000) Frames left for dirt cheap. Ask the shop to call Kona and see what sort of hard tail frames are left for blow out.
