Work party next week
http://evergreenmtb.org/recreation/calendar.php?event_id=8764
The core-group under the direction of Rick Heinz are organizing to form a sub-group whose mission it will be to care for the newly legitimized trails in Black Diamond. Our task currently the Summit Ridge trails and soon adding many more miles of mt. bike trail that fall in the King County Natural Zone area.
The King County Natural Zone addition means more trail will be legitimized and set aside for future generations to enjoy. King County want's our help to discourage any more "unapproved" building in the area, and will rely upon mt. bikers to keep the trails in good riding shape.
Next weeks work party we're continuing the effort to dial the trails. Want to help out above and beyond contact me, or come to the work party, or keep on looking for future updates on how you can get in where you fit in. We'll be working on creating a causeway and culvert through a wet hillside on Tribulation Trail.
Thanks to Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, Real Life Church, King County Parks, Summit Ridge Freeride Builders, and the community of Maple Valley and Black Diamond.
