Here are a few photos I shot this weekend at the Leaping Lizards race in SoCal. I believe the Leaping Lizard race is the longest running annual Downhill race.

Hey were you the guy with the 20D w/ i think 17-70 lens? I was at the bottom, sorta trippy how some of the parts of the bikes are blurred.

What was the course like and where in Socal was it? This is the first time I've ever heard of this race.

The RADS are exactly that. This was easily one of the funnest race formats I've been a part of. The dusting of rain before the start, mob racing(good in theory), and Uncle Gnarl's burgers made for some great memories... Big thanks to all of the riders, friends and family who make this event possible and keep the tradition alive and unadulterated. -Jim.

No, sorry that was not me. I was shooting with a 10D and a 15mm Fisheye, 24-70mm 2.8L. I shot most of the images at 1/60-1/125 with the flash set on second curtain.

Right On Doug!!! You tote a mean camera with the eye of a pornographer... Yer Turner boys(and girl) were uber-fast and made their presence known. For those of you who didn't know, there was a one second split between 1st(Lopes) and 2nd(Sven)... I think somebody rigged the analog wristwatch.

Sven got beat after he trained on the course the day before like it was the world championships. Apparently Sven you dont own it like you proclaimed on the tape i have.
