If you can deal with lack of strength and increased flex, a Ritchey WCS stem would be way light. I don't know how short they come, though. I personally run a 70 or 75mm Thomson and it's perfect. The one thing I don't like is the bolts tend to sieze up, even with grease.

hope stems are really light and yes they make short sizes, but not sure about the flex. just go with thomson since you already have dents on your steerer tube, the thomson would fit perfectly into those dents.
