Yea, I would be the person to post a picture of myself... but, just for the sake of trying to prove you wrong. :) This jump has a gap of around 7 or 8 feet, yet still whip-able. Maybe you're just thinking you need a huge jump to whip if you're on a moto!

I'm aware those guys can throw a whip off a loading dock. But nothing says whip like a long, progressive nose first whip that borders on OTB, gets stagnant, makes you doubt they're gonna land...and ends in a sideways drift down the back side of the lander. So, yes...moto!!!:weee:

Can't wait for this contest! The footage will be epic. Think everyone out there will be on DH bikes? I kinda wonder if any of the dj/slopestyle guys will show up with their short travel rigs...OR maybe even....a hardtail *gasp*. That would be dope. (regardless, my money's on JD)

So this is going to be a Socal MTB whip competition? Or, as some of the riders put it, "scrubs".

Isn't that why Livewire at Northstar was built

Maybe we should just assign winners by how much moto gear they can wear on a MTB and still look like part of a gay-activist group.

Wow, looks to be better than I thought. I probably wouldn't care at all if they only had jumpy-jump specialists. I think people forget that world cup racers have a sh!t ton of skill, which include jumping/scrubbing/whipping etc.

Is Gwinny making an appearance? I think we all know he can whip...
