Awesome post Slugman. BTW, who said that 5+" SC forks were not possible? :confused: :think:

EDIT: That RM9 looks like its way overkill for everything except for dropping off of roofs on 2+ story homes. It probably feels like a soft bed matress... oooh, i'm getting real sleepy.... sleepy. ;)

Why do people ride lightweight bikes with 6" of travel for XC? 'Cuz they can.

IMO they are both silly things, but my opinion doesn't really matter.

Have you seen the one in whistler? 2002 Kona stuff 15" with a super monster....funniest looking bike I have seen :)

I could be seeing things here but if you look at the swingarm in relation to the down tube the angles don't seem to match up to a normal RM9. It seems a lot slacker like maybe he put a super long stroke shock in there to try to match the front end? That bottom bracket is crazy high I wonder what it feels like to ride that thing, or even try to get on it.
