Looking for any information on where I can obtain an 8 inch rear conversion link for a 2001 specialized bighit. If anybody has one of these links just sitting around I'd be willing to buy it. Any information would be helpful, thanks.
You dont need a new link. You just have to buy a new shock. For the 8.2 inch travel that the newer bighits have you need a shock that has an e2e of 8.75 with a 2.75 stroke. I just did this to my friends 03 big hit comp.
Thanks for the info, but I want to keep the stock geometry which means that I need a new link to account for the longer length of the shock. I know a lot of these aftermarket links were produced by Specialized (ie the Biglink) and several smaller companies, I'm just trying to track one down.
