Have you guys noticed if the fork makes your front end a lot taller than other 200mm forks? On paper, the A-C is 591, which seems way taller than the 888,Boxxer, and the 40. Thoughts?
Well it's a really great fork, and in my case the slightly longer a-c was kind of a benefit. So for me, definitely. How it'll work out for you is, well, dependent on what you're looking for.
You can also lower it to 180mm in about 5 minutes if you want a lower a-c.
An additional thought: a lot of people don't actually run the low axle to crown heights that you see published. On a 40, if you run the published 571mm a-c height, it's real low. My previous rig had a 40, and I set it up at an a-c of about 574mm, as shown below. That's a slammed front end, and not many people actually run it like that; I raised it after the first ride, and right before I switched over to my Guerrilla Gravity bike with a Dorado, I had my 40 at 600mm a-c on the 450.
