I have an opportunity to buy absolutely new Marzocchi 4x fork, 2007 version, in a good price.
I am going to have some 4x races next year (I write in "DJ" forum as this one seems to be most appropiate, besides, I hope that dirt riders might have used RS Argyle too). Is Marzocchi fluent, but not "pumping" too much while pedalling? What are your opinions? Is it worth of its weight (2.2 kg is quite much for me)?
Currently I am running Argyle 409. Did anyone use these two forks and could compare? I'd be very gratefull.
I'm especially interested in its travel characteristics. Argyle feels quite good for me at 80mm, I'm afraid that 110mm of 4x is quite much.
I also thought about RS Revelation Race fork (lowered to 100mm), but its not easy to buy them in my country. Maybe someone could compare it to 07 4x?
Or maybe should I forget about 2007 version and gether up my money for model 2010 - are they much better? (I would like to avoid 2008 and 2009 as they are claimed to be very faulty)
