Don't know if this has been discussed already - but I see that Klein will be offering a bike next year with the Maverick SC 85-125 mm fork. If this fork performs anything like the current DC version - then I'll be the first in line to get one.

The Maverick SC has been vaporware so far, but I'd count on seeing a ton at Interbike.

Of course it'll cost $1000 and require a new front wheel...

Well the DC fork is 800 so I'd be surprised if the SC was a grand

It will use a propretary hub though. A new front wheel is a small price to pay for a fork that is far lighter and stiffer than anything else out there....

SC or DC...they are both lustful forks. If you read UK bike mags you've probably seen the SC one many times. I don't think the DC Maverick is the most aesthetically pleasing fork, but hell does it ever work good!! :thumb: The SC one is sexy tho!! Check out this baby from yesterday's Interbike On Dirt Demo

Megan calls me a babe.
I've seen that on the Klein site. A few weeks ago. It;s pretty kewl that they are using that fork now. I hope that they work good. For sure i wanna try one. I have heared from a friend off mine that dc is very smooth, and outperforms other forks in that range.

those things are damn nice,
i wonder if they will flex as much as shiver sc's do?
i also saw a german girl at the fort bill wc racing the dc version,
so they must be strong enough...

It shouldn't because it uses the 24mm hub which seems to make a big difference.
