My bike gets used for agressive cross country. I ride really technical trails, but I don't bomb down them. I jump and do drops but only a couple feet. I feel the F219's might be a bit overkill, but maybe not? I could go X618s, but I really like the look of the disc specific rims :p

Oh yah I'm 150lbs :)

Same here i ride really technicle trails but i bomb down them and i weigh 170 I have X217 disk rims and they are fine.
They seem pretty strong but my rear hub sucks so i'm getting a new rear wheel an X317 and if heard they're stronger than the X217 and lighter.
I'd get them they should be great.

Cool thats the kinda feedback I want

I'll be more specific actually, is the X317 stronger than the 517? They are the same weight i think but maybe the X317 can be built stronger since it doesnt need braking surface? Is this true?

TIA!

The 317 is a far better choice for disc even though it's about the same weight as the 517. The 517 has a very thin spoke bed and is not suitable for disc wheels. The 317 has more of the material conentrated in the spoke bed than the 517 and will hold up much better when used with discs.
