Is a kickass movie. I give it 8 dead midgets out of 10.

Much better than any "Bad Boys" or recent "James Bond" crap. Really cool camera work and nice plot. Crappy songs in the soundtrack, but somehow it works well with the film.

Hmmm. I'll give you Starship Trooper and Dumb and Dumber for sure, but Rudy? Aw man. That movie was nowhere near 9 dead midgets. Maybe 5 dead midgets, and a half a bag of putrid soup, at best.

Yeah, it did it for me.
Michael Mann did a fine decent job on it. Except i would have liked the original MIAMI VICE theme incorporated in the movie. The police captain guy was unexpected too,but was allright . The bearded druglord guy was realistically scary.It was a great movie,"it takes you there" if you know what i mean.
I was born in Miami & grew up near there.I am a pilot & have seen & met some shady people down there .Really everyone is kinda shady in & near Miami ! I remember low flying airplanes without lights in the 80's flying right over my house about 50' off the deck it seemed below radar..

I'm not so sure... I saw it opening night - it was decent in my book. Softcore porn scenes just got old - either go for the whole thing or cut it out, needed more action - last scene though kicked butt.
