looking to get some UST-compatible dh tires for N* and Mammoth. just figured i'd get minion DHF's 2.5 UST, but saw a post here saying the mich dh 16's were lighter and worked well in those loose conditions. yet posted weights indicate both are right around 1270-1300 g.

i dont know actual weights, but they should be bout 50g lighter each, 100g is almost 1/4 lb in rotational weight! thats what i plan on doing

I weighed a minion DHF 2.5 UST and it was 1240g.

I was running minion DHF 2.7 and DHR 2.5 tires and want to try michelin

I bought a 32 2.8 for front and 24 2.5 for back but now think I want something lighter for the front. Would it make sense to run a 16 2.5 in front and 24 2.5 in back? The condtions here are loose and dry
