This may seem like a funny post to alot of people on the coasts, but the vertically challenged midwest does have some Downhill. I myself have participated in an event in Wisconsin at Devil's Head Resort and I know they have a few other races in the State.

I was wondering if anyone on this forum is aware of any other Downhill races in the midwest? Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota?

Any help would be appreciated?

I hear some people rip at a place called Luten Mountain in northern Minnesota. There are some kickass riders called Lake Superior Downhill....

we just wrapped up a badass series in Arkansas. It was a 5 race series complete with great schwag, free beer/grub and the coolest riders. Im pretty sure its gonne have around 8 races next season spread around Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. check out http://www.somefeargear.com/ADHCS/ for more info on this series and watch for updates on next years races. Cool pic. Free food and beer? We are lucky if we get a shuttle in the Washington, Idaho, Montana Norba series. Are these grass roots races or are they officially sanctioned?

they are fully NORBA sanctioned

What are your fees? We pay about $40.00 to race and $5 or $10 more for a daily license.

our fees are about the same, its usually 30 bucks if you have a norba liscense, 35 without.
