A bit off topic, but not really.

A strong YES vote for putting money into an old frame. This '05 got a nice overhaul this winter. Can't wait for summer.

What's new:

MX PUSH on DHX
Boxxer PUSHed
Pivot bearings
729s with Hadleys
Fresh paint on the links and bashrings
Diety direct mount stem
New (but old) Avid Codes
Pulley wheel
Gravity crank arms
Minions

Eventually, I will probably build a new Jedi, but I really love this bike and it rides new.

keep it....it's the winningest frame of all time(or maybe the M1 still has it beat, i dunno)

a suspension updo and some new parts will be great...

don't but a 2011 40 if you're trying to save money, buy some old used suspension and get avalanche to redo it...but a used 5th element, and a boxxer race, send it in and get it valved prefectly for you....

then get some decent parts and lace up some nice moderately priced wheels(hopes and 721's)
