I currently have an HP LP2475W which is now discontinued. I was thinking of getting a second one or something new when I'm in Utah for 4 months. What high gamut monitors are people using these days in the $500-$700 range?

Not totally sure, but when I covered for a co-worker last week who does a lot of code writing I was amazed by the quality of his monitors.

They were HP's of some sort. All I know is that they had IPS panels with all glass (felt like glass) front screen and very small outer bezels. They were very bright with brilliant colours. He purchased them specifically because of his job. I'm working with him tomorrow actually, so I will grab the model name/number.
