This year's Mont Ste Anne World Cup is a lead up to the World Championships that will be held here in September of next year. GESTEV, the organizer, is going all out to make sure it is their best event ever with everything being just a bit bigger and better.
When racing get's underway, it will be Greg Minnaar (Santa Cruz Syndicate) out in front of teammate Steve Peat by 79 points in the overall, with Sam Hill 125 points back due to a big crash in Andorra. For the Ladies it's Sabrina Jonnier (Maxxis) firmly in the lead, by almost an entire victory's worth of points, over Emmeline Ragot (Suspension Center) by 197 points.
