I just got my DHX from Ben (dexterq20), and was wondering if I needed any different mounting hardware than the "standard" stuff I can run down to Go-Ride to pick up. Never mounted a shock before...this should be exciting.

Btw, currently mounted is a Manitou Swinger...I know the hardware isn't compatible.

Shoot a PM to Taz, he ran one on his SGS for quite some time and is all-around handy witrh stuff.

Manitou runs smaller eyelets than Fox/Progressive so your hardware probobly won't cross over. But since the WC model SGS ran the 5th shock, proper hardware should be available through IH, Progressive, or Fox. Even if you can only get the spacer dimensions from IH, the shock companies should stock the parts. i think.

I think I'll just take the bike and shock down to Go-Ride tomorrow. Prolly easier than calling IH and ordering parts.

Now to get a 888 or Dorado for the front end...and i have a sweet race bike. Yay!
