Article about my hometown bro Derrick, and living/riding at Snowshoe. Pretty cool.

Hehehe...Derrick's gonna get some sh!t for this one. neaky:
But seriously, he's one of the best folks on the mountain.
I'll have to ask him for an autograph now!
Damn right. One of the coolest cats I've ever known. Always helped me out learning the DH and freeride ropes. Hooked me up big time on his old Orange 222.
Hell, he even rides slow as crap whenever I go up there so I can keep up.
nice write-up congrats to your bud.
my favorite part:
"Maready will be up against professional riders like Trevyn Newpher of Team 9.8 and possibly Lars Tribus and Chris Herndon...."
Is that what he's doing?! Damn, I was thinkin' I was pretty fast.
"Maready will be up against professional riders like Trevyn Newpher of Team 9.8 and possibly Lars Tribus and Chris Herndon, as well as semi-professionals Brad Stone and Kalan Bunch. (Many of the top riders will be competing in a World Cup event in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Quebec, being held the same weekend.)"
Was this taken from the National Inquirer cause soemthing in that statement don't seem right.
Thats awsome. Derrick is one of the nicest guyts you will ever meet. He has helped me out several times and asked for nothing in return, he just wants people to ride. Im heading up there friday, I will check to make sure his head still fits in his helmet.
Last year at the snowshoe camp, somebody I was riding with got a flat tire on the western side, about half way down the mountain. Derrick let the kid ride his Orange 222 back to the bus while Derrick walked the crippled bike to the bus.
Oh, awesome for him, and for the sport!
Nice write up....now lets go see him!!!!
I'm planning on heading up weekend after next, my friend. Lemme know if you can make it!
