I'm recovering from a collarbone fracture. So I built up this Niner (frame on Jensons closeout) as a rehab bike for road and dirt path riding.

I love those niner forks. They're so cool looking.

I've been thinking of doing something similar. Honestly, the more I think about it, the more appealing the idea of a 29er with road and mountain tires is. I almost never get out on my road bike, even though it's a ti framed carbon wheeled rocketship. Maybe I should sell it and build a ti-framed mtbrode ship...

Or get a CX bike you can put fat rubber on... I'm building up a Surly Straggler as an adventure/touring/do it all bike
