I ride with him, he is not right in the head he needs a longer travel fork, cuz this bike will see 15+ft drops on a normal basis

Chill out guys. The kid knows he needs a bigger fork, he just doesnt have the money yet. It's all gonna be OK.

BTW that frame has a 6.2in travel setting which, in the slack head angle setting would be totally bearable with a 5.5in fork.

My foes has 8 in the rear and 6 up front. It rides awesome, don't worry about the numbers or what you're "supposed" to ride, just ride what you have and have fun.

It does ride nice though, I am pretty used to have a bike with a steep head angle.
