The frame weights 4,8 kg I believe.. or was it 4,9 kg? look at SCB homepage.

Tacobell: nope, with brakes far in, to be able to brake with one finger(index), it's nice to have the shifter that way. And it's no problem with the SRAM-units either. You reach both the brakelever and shifter very easy. Much better than with shimano-triggers.

It doesn't matter where you put your brake or the shifter. It all depens on how long fingers you have and how you like to brake/shift. With this setup I can brake with 1 finger and shift with one finger very easly.

Nope, we haven't met i guess.... anyway, allways nice to se a SC bike here ;o)
