I got hurt pretty badly while riding at Mammoth last season when I broke my c7 vertebra and have been off the bike for a long while. Now it is about time to get back on the bike so to speak and I thought that getting a dj bike to play around on would help me get back into the swing of things, something I can ride closer to home where I've been digging.

Anyway here it is :monkeydance:

:-)busted: and yes I know the seat is high :busted:)

Superco Satellite (24” Specific)
Marzocchi 2007 DJ 2 @ 100mm
Profile cranks, BB, sprocket, hubs
KMC 710sl
Thomson post, stem
Arrow FRXs
K-Rads
Fly Bikes headset, seat, grips
Nem-Pro bars
Avid Juicy 5
Odyssey pedals

Gearing is 25t x 11t

I still need to weigh it (place your bets [no fancy ti parts]).

With the seat slammed, it would be perfect. Haha... yes, I'll be the trend whore who says it.

I love the lil bit o chrome and white and red...

pause.

looks super sick, the weight weenie of me has been interested in the 710sl for a while, but the part of me that hates snapping chains has been scared. does it feel strong?

i'm going to guess 26-28 pounds, based mostly on the fork.
710sl is strong enough to be a on a street/park bike that sees plenty of grinding.
i've been using 710sl's for past 5 years. they rule.

I'm adding this to my (very short) list of all time favorite bikes.
Also probably one of the nicest (gloss) black bikes I've seen.

I've seen 2 Supercos in person and they are very very nice frames.

Enjoy that slick ride!

Wow, coming from "the man behind that red and white bike", that's one hell of a compliment.

I have yet to see any in person, but I'm mighty curious.

yeah, that's an awesome rig man. that stem = $$$, you can't beat it with a stick.

check ebay periodically, I got it for like 50 bucks and I think it is normally 90?

spent a few months getting all the parts so I was able to ebay warrior a few of them (like the fork)

stoked on that

I got to ride one of the proto Satellites, and it was so dope it made me actually consider buying a 24" bike. I still haven't, but if I do, that's the one. Immaculate build quality goes into the frame.

yeah, I've cut the seatpost, dirtied it, and crashed it since then. It was a faceplant and my front teeth were a little loose aahaha.
