I'm thinking bailey... he's such a sweet heart, very calm and gentle. My boyfriend Dan thinks Johnny after Johnny cash or Mick after Mick Jagger. We should have a name by tomorrow though. I like Simon though too. And Dan just said Aiden. I don't think I'll get the Sex in the City reference out of my head for that name though.

...because I think two names is cool for a dog. Makes him/her sound like a superhero.

which might be the case, if the smoke detector ever stops working...

Well, he home and settled in. He and Addie, my roommate's pitt bull mix get along really well, except Addie would like him to play a little more. She was a little aggressive with him when she wanted to play, so we had to seperate them for a little while. He's totally got a german shepherd head and body. He's been pretty low key, except when I tried to get him back in the car after going into Petsmart. He backed out of his collar, and ran back to the store. He got the doors mixed up though, and wound up in CompUSA which is right next door. So I chased him through the store, and when I crouched down he came right up to me and let me put his collar back on. He still didn't like getting back in th car, but we made it home safe and sound. He likes his Authority Brand Liver treats though. I tried to give him a rawhide bone, but Addie stole it and ate it in about 15 minutes.

I still like Bailey, Sammy, Simon, and now I am thinking Marley. he responds to anything with an e sound at the end, so Simon might be out of the running. I'll see how his personality develops through tonight and tomorrow, and go from there.

I like the idea of two names, but it would end up being shortened for practicality, so I might as well just name him what I'll actually want to call him.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
