In the cleavage of the Tetons
Went for a brisk fat bike ride with my four oldest friends in Teton Valley. We have been riding together for 25 years, it’s funny how much the shit talking has mellowed over the years. Great ride, great company.

disassembled a front wheel and relaced it to new hub (boost back to non-boost to fit spare 36). went pretty smoothly, i think. will do final tensioning and truing tomorrow. should have everything together to fully assemble 15yo's new hardtail/my new pumptrack/local goof off bike by monday.

Just had to add a few shallow (.060") relief cuts to rework the existing part our shop made.

I let the pros do the real shit.

All I could imagine is you trying to hog out that slot and the part getting pulled up out of the vice and tossed into your chest when the endmill breaks.

I've witnessed a lot of parts get tossed.

(no context gold mine)

There's a no bitches allowed policy, anyway.
