And so it begins.

Neko is off to Spain tomorrow for a training race in Vigo, Spain.:thumb:

Going to miss him, but he's so ready.

He worked like a madman all winter.

I'm excited to see how he does.

Very Proud.:cray:

GO NEKO!

What a bright future for Neko. I'm excited for him. Seems like so long ago when I watched you follow them down the pro course at Snowshoe. I watched in amazement as they ripped down and off everything - I think you had trouble keeping up with neko at that point (2005 or 2006??).

Anyway, good luck Neko.

Seeding was today.
It has rained both yesterday and today.
He chose to run today on Minions while most of the field ran spikes.
He crashed on the first turn and completed his run conservatively.
His time places him in 11th overall.
9 seconds faster than the next junior.
11 seconds off first Elite. (Mark Beauont or Brandon Fairclaugh I think?)
He says he's feeling pretty good in spite of a bruise on his quad from a big stack yesterday.
They race at 11 am Spanish time which is 6 am EST.
This information is all from Neko's Blackberry and was sort of cryptic so I cannot guarantee any of this information is 100% accurate.
I just thought I'd share what I think I know.:)
You can check out Nekos facebook for pics.

Sick time/result for Neko, but why wasn't he riding Elite?

I know this track can change very quickly...were the weather/course conditions the same for Juniors and Elite?

Go American rider future!
