Sorry for the crappy pics....i literally finished the build an hour ago....i figured i could brighten you all up between world cups with some bike porn, in hopes to distract you all from the usual gay quarrels over sam hill, how much americans suck, who has the liscence for dw link, etc.......

huge thanks to acadian for firing some tires out to me when i was in a pinch!!!

what did you change? I seem to recall you having a white turner frame, but thats it
it was raw with an old fox.......new wheels, new fork, new saddle....new drivetrain is halfway there.....waiting on deraileur cassette and chain.....
basically a facelift, thats all.....

i will say, just from tooling around in the parking lot it seems like there is a big difference between 08 and 09 fox cartridges.....more on that after a full ride.....

When we had the first square tubed DHR's in white a few years back, me & jeremy were the first to get them shipped. Casey called Jeremy up and said it was the most beautiful bikes they'd ever made & that him & Dave didn't want to part with them. :D

thanks for all the kind words....i guess to answer some questions.....dump-> i've been riding DHR's for 8 years now.....that makes me feel old.....

socket-> the shock is an old 5th....the fork seems much different, but it's too early to tell....i'll know more after a full ride, but....as i read in decline the new cartridge was supposed to have a few new features....improved flow in the rebound piston(i can definitely feel that already).....better isolation between the hi and lo speed adjustments(can feel that too) .....less noise(it is quiter).....and a bunch of other things that i don't remember......

RMBoy-> the 5th is not shimmed so to speak....it still has the control valve in it.....it was set up quite nicely by a good buddy of mine who worked at progressive in the past.....the shock feels great all around, but the one outstanding attribute is NO EXCESS CHASSIS MOVEMENT!....the bike feels super stable.....not wallowy....

JR and Butch->.....i remember when you guys got your white bikes....i definitely envied them.....when i was trying to come up with a good color i thought about how dope yours looked back in the day and said.....why not.....

thanks again for all the remarks...

oh yeah....weight is around 38 lbs.....

edit...fred....powdercoated the "old" frame.....matt matt....haven't ridden the saddle but it seems pretty cool so far.....my last SDG held up pretty well though....

yours is a winner foh sho!! The white swingarm makes the lines of the bike show up so much nicer than a polished rear. Let's all take a walk down memory lane:
