I am looking into a Cannondale prophet...I am just shopping around and dreaming alittle bit but I have read alot of good things about these bikes..A friend bought one a little while ago and loves it..I never thought I would spend alot of money on a bike but after the last year I can't wait to get a much better one...Anybody here have anything bad to say about the prophet.????...just curious.

which one are you thinking about? and you'll love the lefty if you get it.
My GF just got an '05 800 and she loves it. The Radium R shock kind of sucks, but I think the one youre looking at comes with a swinger 3 way so it'll be that much better. I guess it depends on what kind of riding youre going to be doing, but I think the prophets are a kick ass bike for all-mountain type stuff.
Some people tend to dislike cannondale because they hang various proprietary bits on their bikes. Dunno what the spec looks like for the bike in question, but my friend has had problems working on his bottom bracket because it was a 'unique' C'dale design.
