The race bike for this season. No nonsense bike without *gasp* carbon other than the wheels ( carbon Ritchey post is just in there for build purposes). Build is straight Ultegra SL and the dura ace carbon tubs.
More pics once it's built.

Post full build kit please.

Alloy bikes rule, I will say though that you might want to keep the option of a carbon post, depending on how it rides. I know my F95 rides a bit "firmer" with the alloy post vs. the carbon that was on there previously, but the DA 7850 wheels are decently smooth, so it's not an issue. Depending on how hard the carbon wheels ride, you may or may not like it.
Just my experience, but then again it's not a CAAD, so...
I love those bikes though.

See the thread I'm about to start on my new bike too. Well, most likely if you're reading this it's done already, so look for that.

James- nothing special on the build. Full Ultegra SL group, Ritchey bars, stem ans seatpost. The Super Six was a option but surprisingly almost everyone went with a CAAD. Will just be used on race day and should make a fine race steed.

Mikey- you goin aluminum on your roadie to?

Nah, I'm gonna get a Felt F1SL. Though building up an alloy rain would be cool...
w00t!
That's what I like to read! When are you getting it? Where? What size do you ride?

Rain bikes are super fun, I love building those up...and riding in the wet.

The 909
James, I should have it sometime this week. I'm racing for a team based in your neck of the woods (Bike Religion). Getting a 56cm. Can't wait!

Sweet ride but err, isn't that a carbon fork?

And what's with the backlash against carbon bikes lately? Is it a cost thing or are people having bad long-term experiences with carbon?
Fork is carbon , was just referring to the frame, my bad.
We had our choice of frames from C'dale and alot of us just decided to go aluminum for a crit bike. Besides, it's on us if we crash it as far as paying for crash replacement an I'm a cheap ass. I still have the System Six for longer races.
