I'm thinking that instead of building another freeride bike that my current Giant Glory is working great and instead I'm looking at building a DJ bike. Currently, I'm swaying towards the Yeti DJ. I'm looking for a lightweight frame thats sub 5 lbs. Also I need to come up with some party specs but coming from freeride I have no clue wat kinda parts to look at. I'm thinking of running just a rear brake (any people done this? how does it feel?), a single ring in rear and chainguide in front. This bike will be for JUST Dj so I'm looking for as light parts as I can get. Any ideas/input?

well if you want a 4x race frame get the dj, for everything else look elsewhere. The dj is long, slack, and has just goofy geo in my opinion (i have the prototype that i helped design with them hanging on wall, thing was $$$$$ and then they went and changed everything on the production)
A nemesis project secret agent fits your needs pretty well and is available in any color with any geometry you want. I absolutley love mine. Other companies like black market, staats, giant (stp is pretty light i think this year and looks dialed) and the like are also other great options.

the thing is, although it has bad street geo, it feels ammmmaaaaazing riding slalom, 4X, jumps and even short trail rides. believe me, it's a great bike, but if you're riding urban, i just wouldn't recommend it.
