Actually looks more like a Blue Groove. Probably what you meant. Nevegal is all square knobs.http://www.sicklines.com/interbike2007/maxxis/

Sorry, Blue Groove was what I was going for. Either way they're mediocre Kenda tires.Actually looks more like a Blue Groove. Probably what you meant. Nevegal is all square knobs.

Personally, I prefer to buy tires from a company that has this as their tag line: "Designed to feel like a slip and slide on a 45 degree incline!""Designed with traction in mind".
Sweet.
i thought all tires were designed with traction in mind, isnt that the idea of rubber tires?"Designed with traction in mind".
Not really. Some tires are designed for low rolling resistance, or light weight. Both of which are sacraficed when you add knobs for traction.i thought all tires were designed with traction in mind,
Ah true... I've run the 3Cs and the SRYs back to back and I reckon the SRYs are my fav. 3Cs seem to last longer I suppose, but the SRYs let you corner off rocks better.only in aus, 3c is only $5 more OS, its all about volume. So many sr and st are brought in to aus.

except for the mobsterill prolly give it a try when it comes out. maxxis is yet to let me down
yah i agree with ya on that one. the mobsters i used that were 60d were junk, but for like 10 dollars a tire i couldn't complain.except for the mobster
that tire was the death of many an aluminum chainstay back in the day, wasn't it bro. Some kids will never know the growing pains of DH...I still have a pair of original helter skelters in my stack o tires, haha.
