I told you it was rocky.please tell me these guys/trail is not coming from the middle/top of image?
I told you it was rocky.
And yup, what you're looking at is the 'trail'
Yeah that's the bottom of the waterfall AKA 'no clean line left'Thats off of karpiel right?
STD line?
Rolling that clipped in was religious experience. I made it and didn't dab, but I'm glad I'll be on flats this timeYeah that's the bottom of the waterfall AKA 'no clean line left'
You used to be able to pin it through that section down that 'ridge' in the upper left of that pic.Rolling that clipped in was religious experience. I made it and didn't dab, but I'm glad I'll be on flats this time
No way man, I want to ride in that thing!fair enough....guess I will have to take the babyseat off my DH bike then.
Some friends of mine with a pimp full suspension tandem want to try to ride Northstar this year, I'll see if I can hook it up for you.No way man, I want to ride in that thing!

Yeah, I echo that commentThe truly awkward part is about 40ft below where that rider is. I've never been able to haul ass cleanly through that wierd notch thing.
Yep, with a different bike and different stoker. Is this your buddy who tried to chop that tree in half with his nose?
Like I said......I want to film it.Tandems are hard to endo, but when it happens the stoker is like 12 feet in the air.
I've done some tandem trail rides but as soon as it gets sketchy I jump off the back and run behind.
We did a poachy night ride on that thing one time on some hiking trails in Marin (tight, twisty, rocky steps, etc.). I can't remember ever laughing so hard. A couple of times my buddy didn't even know I had jumped off.Now that's comedy!
I can't wait to be in California again. This time it is permanent. I hear Northstar is hella bad ass. Honestly I am from Ohio, anything with a chairlift must be good, but when it takes 2 to get to the top, then you know it is Epic.Oh sweet rocks, how I miss them so.
Soon.

Not harderI was gonna say... I used to be able to ride that thing a few years back. I know my skills have dropped off, but it is also good to know that the trail got harder.
Plus sunglasses.Ah well, ya know what I always say-if a guy with camelback, giro helmet and azonic kit can do it....can not be that hard.
HELL no. Also, no.MMMMmmmm yay Northstar! I can't wait to ruin my new bike on them rocks. Are the N* races NORBA sanctioned?
As well as armor....I actually bought a 661 core saver and some chicken wing elbows for the '07 N* season. I didn't wear elbows in '05 and got beat the f-up when I fell.Plus sunglasses.
Not wearing goggles at northstar is about the stupidest thing you can do.
No you're confusing that with the blowjob and a beer I offer at my house for all norba pros. I live close to northstar. And good gawd, I respect me some norba pros!!!I just heard a rumor than anyone with a pro NORBA license gets free lift tickets opening weekend. Is this true?
