Has anyone really ridin this groupo? i took it out on a short loop at my shop, but i wanted to know if anyone has been riding it for a while and what you thought of it.

Yup. Like it a lot. I have red and force mixed.

I find SRAM FDs to be rather finicky.
Also find the Gore Ride-On cables and housing to suck.
The shifters feel better with time.
SRAM told me, finally, that their shifters are rebuildable. Average cost, if SRAM does it, is about $125.

I've been running Red on my roadie since Feb. I want to complain about the FD trim, and say how much better I liked Campy's trim feature, but the reality is that I haven't had any problems at all. Having run Red for a while and then building my CX bike up with Force recently, I can say that I much prefer the instantaneous action of the Red shifters.
Oh, and the Gore cables absolutely do not suck. They've sucked in the past when they were installed incorrectly.
