FYI there is minimal weight difference between a Romic and DHX. I just got a DHX for my other bike after riding one on my trail bike for awhile:

9.5x3.0 Shocks
350 lbs. Steel Spring
Romic Twin Tube: 968 grams
Fox DHX 5.0: 1026 grams

Difference - 58 grams
