It would definitely suck to be a Steelers fan right now.

I'm gonna talk smack while I can since even the Bills can't lose in a bye week.

Thats becasue AJ hawk is the best linebacker in the entire leauge. Thats why he is in the picture.
Let's see...um...no. He's not in the top 10. Hell, he isnt even the best LB on his own team. Nick Barnett is currently better and Barnett is AVERAGE as it gets.

Urlacher
Merroidman
Al Wilson
Brooks
Aarington (injured)
Zach Thomas
Julian Peterson
Lofa Tatupu
Lance Briggs
Johnathon Vilma
Keith Brooking
Takeo Spikes

...off the top of my head are all easily better than Hawk at this point. He may turn out to be pretty good, but now he is pretty regular.

Shouldnt be too hard since Dr. Z is an idiot. He picked chicago to go dead last in the NFL last year among many other blunders.

Anyway, of those games:
Bengals over Falcons
Broncos over Colts
Saints over Ravens
Bears over Niners
Cardinals over Packers
Steelers over Raiders (god you better hope)

Also, I like the Texans to beat the Titans

LOL! Quite the prognosticator I am! I guess I got the only one that mattered. Hahah!

so, is the Indy defense that bad or did the Broncos step up?

And was it the skill or game plan/coaches that lost the game on defense?

Indy's defense is very porous. Anyone can score some points on them.

...and it was simply Peyton manning who WON the game for Indy. He is that good.

while true, he is a great QB... Denver put ZERO pressure on him. No pass rush attack at all and I think that was the game plan. But if they were going to drop back in coverage, why didn’t someone shadow Darrent Williams who was covering RWayne, so DW could go for the ball instead of staying in coverage?

I’m bummed cuz I think Denver has the talent, but the defense game plan should’ve been switched when they realized it wasn’t working. So I blame the coaching staff for this loss. :(

How ironic would it be if the Colts won the SB this year and Edge lost that opportunity chasing the money. Plus, Edge is hurting is Hall of Fame chances.

Dude, dont even start talking trash as a cowboy fan. Mediocre is a very accurate adjective to describe dallas right now.
Given their inconsistency, my trash talk has been tempered of late; call me guardedly optimistic. Nice to see some solid play against a decent opponent on the road, though. Romo needed a tuneup before stepping onto the pitch at RFK, though, and I think he showed he was up to the task. The 4skins are gonna badly clipped at home this coming Sunday and folded into a batch of Mighty Dog.

The Bears are a lot better than I thought they were, I'm sad to admit.

Yeah, the skins are brutal and Dallas should smack them around pretty easily as long as romo remains fairly consistent. Dallas may well get into the playoffs yet, but I considered them DONE a little too early last week.
Still, it all rides on Romo.
Carolina, on the other hand, wow, did they look bad or what in the 2nd half? Pretty much if you keep steve smith quiet, they have no other weapons at all.

Except that Carolina lost the game more than Dallas won it.

It looks rather definitively after this weekend a Colts-Bears SB.

The Panthers REALLY hurt themselves with all those dropped balls, especially the one Keyshawn dropped. Smith came up alligator-armed a couple times, too. The thing that continues to scare me more than anything else about the Cowboys is the horrible timing and ridiculous number of penalties they've been racking up. The iffy turnover differential and missed field goals could probably be overcome if they weren't coupled with drive-killing(or sustaining on defense) penalties. :banghead:

After being down early, putting up 35 unanswered points is considered in some camps winning a game. Did you actually watch it?
The Caroline defense looked dead and if the offense held onto the ball it would've been a different game. As you said...

I'm just sayin, there are only a few teams in the league actually putting up complete games, good game plans and maximum effort.

Dallas ain't one. At least TO is doing his job, so JJ should be happy about that.

Time Of Pos.: Dallas- 38:16 Carolina- 21:44
They were dead because they were on the field so much of the game in a reactive mode.

The 'boys have been inconsistent, but it was fun watching Parcells all jovial on the sidelines like a campaigning politician kissing babies and all.
